Dead of Night, WV is the tentative title of my poetry project that will engage with the legacies of the Mountain State. The project was to culminate with a theatrical poetry and bluegrass tour of West Virginia in 2014 and 2015, but as of now (Spring 2013 - two years into the project) a more traditional book form is more likely. That may change though!
Dead of the Night, WV is the name of every small town in West Virginia; it is the name of our time 150 years into statehood; it is the name of this blog, and may someday find itself the title of a book of poems.
